The last International Symposium on Wild Fauna were held in: Ischia (Italy), Paris (France), Edinburgh (Scotland) – Léon (Spain) – Kosike (Slovakia)
The Xth conference will be held in Vila Real (Portugal) in September 2017
Main objective: Wild fauna management and conservation
The International Symposium on Wild Fauna is a platform for international exchange of ideas, research and policy themes related to the wild life management, conservation and animal health, always under an integrated and sustainable approach.
Around 150 participants are expected from all over the world. It is anticipated that the conference will attract researchers, students, technicians on Wild fauna management and conservation, veterinarians, representatives of government authorities, diagnostic laboratories and Wild fauna management companies, and others.
Current scientific and policy questions will be discussed at the conference. The programme is based on the presentation of abstracts submitted. We will have 3 plenary lectures. The conference will facilitate interaction with specialists and policy makers from all over the world in the Wild fauna management and conservation area. The main topics are:
